12 Reasons to Visit Resorts World Genting, Malaysia – To be one of the selected influencers from Indonesia to join FAM Trip to Resorts World Genting was my first and proud experience.
Indonesia was not the only country involved but there were two other countries such as Thailand and United States.
Though visiting Resorts World Genting was not my first time but this visit gave me more memorable experience and better insight about Resorts World Genting since my fellow influencer friends and I had an opportunity to explore this resort for 4 days 3 nights.
The impression that came to my mind instantly about the resort was sophistication in beauty. I think those words thoroughly represent my personal view of this resort.

Resorts World Genting located in Bentong, Pahang, Malaysia admittedly has a beautiful scenery and cold air.
Like Puncak in West Java, Indonesia which is always crowded with visitors especially on weekends, so is Resorts World Genting. This resort always has its visitors coming from all around the world with different aims and different holiday plans.
The 130-million-year-old rainforest is still sustainable displaying a breathtaking view of nature. No wonder you will see cold mist and feel the cool air from the mountain every morning.
Greenery from your surroundings gives refreshing sight and soothing feeling moreover for those who live in big cities with hustles and bustles each day. This resort surely is a perfect place for your holiday escape.
Even though this resort located in the highlands, Resorts World Genting is well-known of its star-rated hotels. I think the management puts comfort and international standards as part of their main principles.
No question if one of its hotels has been awarded as World’s Largest Hotel by the Guinness World Records as of 20 June 2015.

Every hotel has their unique characteristics to ensure that visitors with different walks of life can stay at the most preferred hotel as they desire.
So no worries for the accommodation as Resorts World Genting is a home to plenty hotel rooms. Overall room capacity of these hotels exceeds 10,000 rooms. Amazing!
Other than hotels, Resorts World Genting also has many restaurant selections for your tummy starting from Asian, Western, Middle-Eastern, and local delights. It serves both a la carte and buffet.

Awana SkyWay is one of the newest and flagship attractions in Resorts World Genting. It was officially operated by the end of 2016 and flies visitors to enjoy a crisp mountain from above.
To get more adventurous experience, ride a glass floor gondola to enable you to have an uninterrupted view of the rainforest, Chin Swee Caves Temple, and the soon-to-be-opened World’s first Twentieth Century Fox Theme Park.

8Chin Swee Caves Temple
Another eye-catching attraction in Resorts World Genting is Chin Swee Caves Temple. Things that make this temple so special are its location built on a sharp, rocky slope near the peak of Resorts World Genting and its rainforest surroundings.

7Rainforest – Fashion Forest
Those who love doing outdoor activities, don’t hesitate to visit Fashion Forest located not that far from Chin Swee Caves Temple.
It only takes approximately 8 minutes to reach the place by road. You can do some exercises like trekking and slow walking. And if you are interested in learning something about forestry, there are experts here available to explain all the knowledge to you.

6SeniKome Peng Heng
Besides its sophistication and beauty, Resorts World Genting has also a place to promote East Coast Malaysia’s heritage like culture, music, food, fashion, and traditional crafts.

5The Visitors’ Galleria
President Soekarno (Indonesia’s first President) once said that great nation is a nation that respects its heroes. Probably those words are so suitable to be addressed to Tan Sri Dato Seri Lim Goh Tong, a founding father of Resorts World Genting.
He was not literally a hero on the battlefield but his hardship, countless efforts, and determination made Resorts World Genting become what it is right now.

2Vision City Video Games Park
For visitors that bring kids to this resort will not get frustrated since there is also Vision City Video Games Park dedicated to entertaining your family members. When I was at Resorts World Genting, unfortunately, I had not enough time to visit the famous Casino. As far as I am concerned, most visitors visiting this resort just aim to play in the casino.
No question that its casino becomes the most visited attraction in Resorts World Genting. If you want to test your luck, you can come and don’t forget to bring your passport.
For Muslim Malaysian, it is strictly prohibited to enter the casino by Genting and Malaysia authorities. But other Muslims from outside Malaysia are allowed to play.
Actually, there is still another attraction that is highly anticipated in the near future. It is the world’s first Twentieth Century Fox Theme Park that is forecasted to officially operate next year.
By opening this theme park, it is expected to have gained 30 million visitors coming to Resorts World Genting by 2020.
