Visiting Kelingking Beach: Nusa Penida’s Spectacular Hidden-Gem – Nusa Penida has many hidden-gems to offer, one of them is Kelingking Beach aka Kelingking Secret Point. I would say visiting Kelingking Beach is one of the wonderful experiences that I’ll cherish forever.
Here is my experience visiting Kelingking Beach: Nusa Penida’s Spectacular Hidden-Gem
Kelingking Beach is located in the western part of Nusa Penida. Usually, visitors come to this place following their journey to Broken Beach (Pasih Uug), Angel’s Billabong, Pohon Cinta, Paluang Cliff, and Crystal Bay. They all are placed in the same western area of Nusa Penida. Check my experience visiting Angel’s Billabong!
How to get there?
Continuing our journey from Angel’s Billabong, we rode some motorbikes accompanied by our tour guides and spent about 20 minutes to reach Kelingking Beach. It was a difficult journey as Nusa Penida has the worst infrastructure in its western part. However, the efforts and struggles you’ve made to be able to stop by this place will be paid off.

You’d better ride a motorbike when exploring this area and make sure you have locals to guide you. It takes 5 minutes walking to reach Kelingking Secret Point from the parking lot.
How much does it cost entering the area?
At the intersection prior to reaching the spot, there will be some locals ask for the entry fee. Every visitor should pay IDR 5,000 and there’s no additional cost afterward except your parking fee.
There’s a humble public toilet that is used by visitors for urination, defecating, and showering. It’s priced at IDR 2,000, IDR 3,000, and IDR 10,000 respectively for using its facilities.
What’s offered?
Actually, Kelingking Beach itself is located far below having a look-alike Tyrannosaurus Rex cliff. Spot, where I stroke a pose, is named Kelingking Secret Point and I was satisfied enough just to have pictures at that point. You should think twice to get down hundreds of stairs because it really drains much energy and takes strong determination.
